Chrome, Chromebooks, and Digital Portfolios - NEW!

We will learn how to use Chrome (and Chromebooks) to redefine teaching, looking at how we can use Google Apps for Education to help students own their learning and make their thinking visible. We will start with an introduction to Chrome Browser tools and transition into how we can use Google Apps to capture curate and publish student work.

What teachers will learn:

  • Introduction to the Chrome Browser Classroom

  • Specific and targeted strategies to think about  how to redesign classroom activities

  • Using Google Apps for Education to effectively and purposefully curate student  work through digital portfolios

Cancellation Policy: All registrations are final and non-refundable. Registration is, however, transferrable. If you cannot make it to the event, please find a colleague to attend in your place.

NoteApproximately one month prior to your event, you will be notified if the workshop, you have selected must be cancelled due to insufficient registrations. In the event that a workshop is cancelled you will have the option to transfer your registration to a workshop that will be taking place or request a full refund. We recommend holding off on transportation and lodging purchases until the 30 day deadline occurs.

Certificates of Participation for the pre-summit will be available after the summit.

Graduate Credit

Graduate credit is available from Adams State College for many of the pre-summit sessions. Registration is or will be available here.  .5 hr for $27.50 and 1hr for $55. Please use a credit card to register.  Additional coursework is required.
